Therapeutic Philosophy

"We always have a choice, We can let the circumstances of our lives harden us and make us increasingly resentful and afraid, or we can let them soften us and make us kinder. "
 -Pema Chödrön

I am guided to work with you through a holistic lens that supports connection with the mind, body, and spirit. Drawing from the Psychodynamic Approach, we can begin to focus on unearthing the unconscious beliefs that cause present day anxiety, depression, and feelings of uneasiness. We can explore how childhood relationships shape the beliefs you have about yourself, and those around you, while using emotional and somatic awareness as a guide in evaluating these imprinted beliefs.

Growth can occur in any season of life and therapy can be an act of self love. Bravery, compassion, and patience are ways you can begin healing the wounds that have been created overtime. This is a lifetime commitment that does not require perfection, but the vulnerability to embrace the imperfections that make us human.
